The installation position of the height limiter for the single-girder electric hoist is specified as follows:
Installation Position: The height limiter of the single-girder electric hoist should be installed at an appropriate position on the hoist's lifting mechanism to ensure accurate detection of the hook's ascending height. Generally, the height limiter should act when the hook rises to a distance of 100-200mm from the limit position.

Specific location: The upper limit switch should be installed at the highest working position that the hoist cage is allowed to be lifted to. When the hoist cage rises to the set position, it triggers the limit switch, causing the hoist cage to stop rising. The upper extreme switch should be installed 0.5 meters beyond the upper limit switch. When the hoist cage triggers the upper extreme switch, it should be able to cut off the main power supply, causing the hoist cage to stop operating.

Adjustment method: Loosen the screws on the bumper, place the bumpers on both sides of the rope guide plate, and ensure that the plate can freely push the bumpers to move. Start the motor to lift, stop the ascent when the upper edge of the hook pulley housing is 150mm to 50mm away from the lower edge of the drum housing, press the descent button briefly, stop the machine when the rope guide moves back about 10mm, move the upper limit bumper closer to the plate, and tighten the screws. The adjustment method for the lower limit position is similar, but in the opposite direction. It must be ensured that when the hook is at the lowest position, there are more than three turns of wire rope left on the drum. After the adjustment, perform several no-load tests to verify whether the upper and lower limit positions meet the requirements.

Accuracy requirement: The action error of the height limiter should be controlled within ±20mm. The limiter should be able to reliably cut off the lifting power supply to stop the lifting action of the electric hoist.
