Special crane for container yard
Wheeled container gantry crane (commonly referred to as field bridge, English abbreviation is RTG) is a large specialized container yard special machinery, loading and unloading standard containers. It is not only applicable to the yard of the container terminal, but also applicable to the special container yard.
The yard crane is powered by a diesel engine AC generator set and adopts digital frequency conversion speed regulation. It can move in two directions within the container yard. It is equipped with telescopic spreaders capable of lifting 20-foot and 40-foot containers. The spreaders of the yard crane mostly use fixed guide plates. To reduce the sway of the spreader, mechanical anti-sway devices are installed. For the convenience of container handling, a small-angle rotation device for the spreader is provided. To enable the crane to switch between yard operations, a right-angle steering mechanism of 0° to 90° is installed. Generally, the span of the yard crane has been standardized at 23.47 meters (six rows plus walkways), but non-standard spans can also be supplied. The lifting height can ensure the lifting of a 40-foot container that is 9'6" high, over four layers (or five to six layers) of stacked containers.
