Herringbone pole pull
The herringbone pull rod is generally made by binding two round logs or two steel pipes with steel wire ropes or hinging them together with iron parts. Its advantage is that the lateral stability is better than that of the one-legged pull-out, and fewer guy ropes are used, but the range of movement of the component after lifting is small. Calculation of the tension of guy ropes and selection of guy ropes
The guy rope is the stabilizing system of the mast crane, which is related to the safety of the crane and affects the axial force of the mast. The tension of guy ropes is divided into working tension and initial tension.
The initial tension of the guy rope
The initial tension refers to the force by which the guy [3] rope is pre-tightened when the mast is not in operation. The initial tensile force should be 15% to 20% of the working tensile force.
2. The working tensile force of the guy wire
The working tensile force refers to the load borne by the guy wire when the mast crane is in operation.
In the correct arrangement of guy ropes, there is always one guy rope located within the vertical plane determined by the hoisting vertical line and the mast axis. This guy rope is called the "main guy rope".
3. Basic principles for selecting guy ropes: All guy ropes must be selected as the main guy ropes.
When choosing guy ropes, the sum of the working tension and the initial tension of the main guy rope is taken as the basis.
